Course Overview

Geared for experienced Java developers, Introduction to Jython is a hands-on course that teaches participants Jython, Java implementation of Python. Jython is a high-level, object-oriented, open-source programming language. Jython programs can access the Python library, as well as seamlessly access Java classes and the libraries and extend them. Throughout this course students will explore programming with Jython, its integration with Java, and using Jython in the real world.

Course Objectives

This “skills-centric” course is about 60% hands-on lab to lecture ratio, coupling the most current, effective techniques with the soundest industry practices. Throughout the course students will be led through a series of progressively advanced topics, where each topic consists of lecture, group discussion, comprehensive hands-on lab exercises, and lab review.

Working within in a hands-on learning environment, guided by our expert team, attendees will explore:

Excellent detail about the Spring framework which directly relates to my role as a senior engineer. I found the content and style to be very enjoyable, and would encourage me to ask questions where previously I might not have paid much attention, eg. pom version numbers / spring starters being imported.
